SYNOPSIS

The last refuge.

In a future Mexico City, humanity has surrendered its memory, desire and attention to its digital reflection. From this collective surrender emerges Egregor: an entity that feeds on the humanity that brought it into being.

Inside the last Gothic chapel, two women preserve what the new order has forbidden: touch, intimacy, imperfection and presence. When one is killed and her body claimed for a synthetic existence, the survivor must conceal herself among droids, clones and sleeping humans whose consciousness sustains the entity.

Live music becomes an act of resistance. As Egregor breaches the refuge, bodies and frequencies enter a final confrontation with the void — a ritual in which the struggle to remain human opens onto the possibility of transformation.
